Booths are $60 each or $65 with a table and chair provided
Is there a fee to apply?
Yup. It costs $5 per business to submit yourself. This is not refundable.
How are vendors selected?
A jury meets and assesses applicants based on quality, craftsmanship, aesthetics, variety, sustainability and rationale. We fill in spaces based on their votes (with a bit of consideration towards category variety).
When will I find out if I have been selected?
After the jury meets, notifications will be going out by Sunday, July 22, 2012.
What are booth sizes?
Spaces are 10' x10' - just the right size to accomodate a standard canopy tent.
Are tents and/or coverings provided?
No. It is the vendor's responsability to provide their own tent or covering for themselves and their merchandise. However, a table and chair can be provided for an additional $5.
Can I get electricity?
Unfortunately, we do not have any generators to plug into at this time. Thankfully, the whole event takes place during daylight hours, though.
Can I share a space with a friend?
Yes you can, but you must apply separately. This is so that we can promote both businesses should you be accepted. There is a section in the application to note your sharing buddies.
Is there a contingency for bad weather?
The Bloorcourt Arts and Crafts Fair is a rain or shine event.
What sort of goods are eligible to be sold?
All goods that are made by hand (the maker must be the one selling them) and all vintage goods.
How many vendors will you be accepting?
This year we are able to accept in the neighbourhood of 100 vendors (depending on a few layout logistics). What a craft party!
What if I have some crazy amazing interactive project that I think would be perfect for this event?
We are very interested! Both the Bloorcourt Street Fair and City of Craft have big interests in interactive programming. If you have a project that doesn't fit into our standard 10' x 10' space, please contact us at cityofcraft@gmail.com to discuss it. The more handmade, the better!
