linoblock printmaking

3pm - 5pm

Craft Ontario - 1106 Queen St West

Create a set of hand printed gift tags to craft up your beautiful new City of Craft finds! Choose from ready made blocks or carve your own signature design to customize your gifts this holiday season.

In relief printmaking, material is carved away, leaving the design on the surface of the stamp block to be inked and printed. In this workshop, you will turn your own design, or a design or image of your choice, into a stamp block.  You will learn use of the tools, carving techniques, application of coloured inks, and printing on paper products. Non-toxic inks will be used.
